Return Policy

We have a simple return policy under which you can return a product received in a damaged or defective condition. In case of categories like Apparel and Footwear, the return policy is also applicable if the product does not fit you due to a size mismatch.

 

Giftro.in has a 48 hours return policy which means that you can request a return within 48 hours of receiving the product by you.

Returns for replacement/refunds/exchange under certain scenarios will NOT be accepted as given below:

a)        Request for return is made after 48 hours of receiving the product by you

b)       Product is used or is not in its original condition. The product should not be washed or ironed.

c)        Products are returned without its original packaging, freebies or accessories.

d)       Product was damaged after use/opening

e)        Incidental damage due to malfunctioning of the product.

f)        Products like Innerwear, lingerie, vests, briefs, trunks, socks, mittens, wristbands, cosmetics, perfumes, deodorants, fashion accessories, contraceptives, flowers, furniture, bullion, precious jewellery, remote-controlled toys and their accessories, and any free/complimentary items received with the main order do not qualify for replacement, exchanges or refund.

g)       Any consumable item which has been used or installed.

h)       Product with tampered or missing serial number/IMEI number/UPC number.

i)         Missing manufacturer tag especially in case of apparel and footwear.

 

Within 48 hours of receiving a product, you can request a return via email at giftro.in@gmail.com or over phone at our 24x7 customer care number 09911544660.

Note: Replacement is subject to availability of stock with our Business Partner. In case a replacement cannot be made by us, we will initiate a full refunds. Also it's important that the product is sent back in its original packaging, original manufacturer tags, including the box, manufacturer's packaging if any, and all other items originally included with the product(s) delivered (including any free or complimentary items).

 

If you wish to return or exchange a product, you must intimate Giftro.in within 48 hours of receiving the product by you. As per our returns policy category-wise details for return/refund are as follows:

a)        Apparel and Footwear do not fit because of a size mismatch/issue.

b)       Digital products, Mobile phones, Computers, Tablets, Home & Kitchen (electrical), Electronics and Appliances if found to be defective or damaged on arrival. The products cannot be returned if the reason for return is other than "defective" or "damaged"

c)        Kids Products and Toys (non remote-controlled), Healthy & Beauty, Home & Kitchen, Apparel, Footwear, Books if they were defective and/or damaged when received. Products cannot be returned if the reason for return is other than "defective" or "damaged".


However, if any manufacturing defect or damage is reported to us after 48 hours, we would need a DOA certificate/replacement certificate from the respective Brand's authorized service centre to initiate the refund process. Without the DOA certificate/replacement certificate we will not be able to process the replacement or refund.

 

We have a smooth pick-up facility in most cases and most cities. However, there can be a few exceptions to this depending upon the shipping address and the nature of the product. In case we are unable to collect the returnable product from your address, you will be required to courier the product to us. Please ensure that the product is in original and unused condition, complete with the original price tags, labels, original packing and invoice. Replacements are subject to availability of stock with our Business Partner. In case a replacement is not available, we will initiate full refund.We do not charge extra for returns and all replacements/pickups by us are done free of cost.

 

You do not have to worry about the courier charges at all. In case, you return the product via courier we advise you to use a reputed courier company which allows online consignment tracking. We will reimburse the courier freight. The refund of courier freight charges, if applicable, will be paid through cheque in favour of the 'billing name' provided at the time of placing the order or by issuing a Giftro.in Gift Certificate/Voucher of the equivalent value. The courier charges will be reimbursed only after receipt of the product by our business partner.

 

Shipping & Delivery

What are the delivery charges?

Delivery charge varies with each Seller.

Sellers incur relatively higher shipping costs on low value items. In such cases, charging a nominal delivery charge helps them offset logistics costs. The delivery charge may be waived off by some Sellers, if you shop with them for a minimum predefined value.

For example, seller Siya Art Gallery charges Rs 40 for delivery per item if the order value is less than Rs 500. While, orders of Rs 500 or above are delivered free. Please check with individual Sellers to understand their delivery charges.

 

Why does the delivery date not correspond to the delivery timeline of X-Y business days?

It is possible that the Seller or our courier partners have a holiday between the day your placed your order and the date of delivery, which is based on the timelines shown on the product page. In this case, we add a day to the estimated date. Some courier partners and Sellers do not work on Sundays and this is factored in to the delivery dates.



What is the estimated delivery time?

Sellers generally procure and ship the items within the time specified on the product page. Business days exclude public holidays and Sundays.

 

Estimated delivery time depends on the following factors:

·         The Seller offering the product

·         Product's availability with the Seller

·         The destination to which you want the order shipped to and location of the Seller.

 

Are there any hidden costs (sales tax, octroi etc) on items sold by Sellers on Giftro.in?

There are NO hidden charges when you make a purchase on Giftro.in. List prices are final and all-inclusive. The price you see on the product page is exactly what you would pay.

 

Delivery charges are not hidden charges and are charged (if at all) extra depending on the Seller's shipping policy.

 

Why does the estimated delivery time vary for each seller?

You have probably noticed varying estimated delivery times for sellers of the product you are interested in. Delivery times are influenced by product availability, geographic location of the Seller, your shipping destination and the courier partner's time-to-deliver in your location.

Please enter your default pin code on the product page (you don't have to enter it every single time) to know more accurate delivery times on the product page itself.



Seller does not/cannot ship to my area. Why?

Please enter your pincode on the product page (you don't have to enter it every single time) to know whether the product can be delivered to your location.



If you haven't provided your pincode until the checkout stage, the pincode in your shipping address will be used to check for serviceability.



Whether your location can be serviced or not depends on

·         Whether the Seller ships to your location

·         Legal restrictions, if any, in shipping particular products to your location

·         The availability of reliable courier partners in your location



At times Sellers prefer not to ship to certain locations. This is entirely at their discretion.



Why is the CoD option not offered in my location?

Availability of CoD depends on the ability of our courier partner servicing your location to accept cash as payment at the time of delivery.

Our courier partners have limits on the cash amount payable on delivery depending on the destination and your order value might have exceeded this limit. Please enter your pin code on the product page to check if CoD is available in your location.
